For those who must work at night, one hopes they find their “evening” at a different time of the day, but all of us need that space and place of silence and winding down.
The artwork, Evening on the Patit, invites the viewer to step out of where they are into the quiet, tranquil world of the country. Wending its way through the trees and rolling farm hills of Columbia County, WA, is the Patit (pronounced PAT-it, in this area) River, a gentle stream that burbles and flows merrily.

I am a fine art painter who creates representational images celebrating light, life, and color. A commercial illustrator for more than 20 years, I have been painting for most of my life, and in the last 13 years have focused exclusively on fine art.
